There can be little question ; getting a mortgage loan is a complex process. You would not be looking up loan information if it were possible to get a loan in one day with a simple application. Getting a loan involves four major steps.

Step one: Decide how much you can afford

A couple of factors determine this amount. What kind of monthly payment are you looking for? Step two: complete a pre-qualification

This is where the rubber meets the road and Amity Mortgage can really save you money. You will supply info on your employment, your assets, and your residence history. You'll give us your employment, asset, and residence history information. We will get your credit report and score (only after you give your permission, of course). When we review all this information we will give you a pre-qualification letter. Your agent will likely use your pre-qual (as they may call it) in order to make the best offer on the home you choose. The pre-qual letter gives you buying clout! While you're shopping for your new home, we are looking for the loan that best fits your needs.

Step three: apply now! We make it easy

Once you have made an offer and it's been accepted, you should complete the loan application. It's very easy, and you can do it online, right here on our site. Finally, we'll order the appraisal of your new home.

Step four: funding

The agents will find a title company to handle the "funding" and closing of the sale. We'll coordinate with this company to ensure all the papers your lender requires are in order, and you will probably}likely sign everything at this company's officeWe do all the work to work with with this company to set your closing date. Since you don't need to worry about these details, you can think about moving logistics, painting, new carpet, and the details involved in getting your new house.
